Summary:
The maintenance technician will require employee to troubleshoot and repair active production processes, complete preventative machine maintenance, perform facility upkeep and complete projects/work orders.
Assigned tasks will support the production, quality, cost and safety goals of the manufacturing operation and plant facilities.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Test and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment, or systems.
Installation of newly purchased, refurbished, or relocated equipment.
Repairs and maintains various utility and support systems within facilities Operate from maintenance schedules and work orders submitted to the department and assigned by the Maintenance Manager/MRO group.
Performs basic administrative activities including documentation of work performed by written/electronic methods.
Detects and reports faulty operation of equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions through Maintenance Manager.
Read and understand blueprints and wire schematics Use critical thinking and trouble shooting skills to solve problems Use basic hand tools, metal working tools and various power tools Operates forklifts and manlifts whenever necessary (any employee operating forklifts must successfully complete the forklift training program).
Maintain work area, hand tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.
Observe prescribed safety regulations and other standards of operation and conduct Supervisory Requirements:

Experience:
3 years previous Industrial Maintenance experience and training 2-year technical degree in industrial maintenance preferred Motivated and able to work independently while using good judgement.
Physical Requirements Ability to independently lift 50lbs occasionally, and the ability to team lift up to 100lbs occasionally.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
